Holiday Outreach

Since 1993, when the NCDA launched the "Christmas is for Kids” program, the holiday dreams of literally thousands of Metroplex children have been fulfilled thanks to the generosity of the Association's members. In 2004, the NCDA took "Christmas is for Kids” to a different level by sponsoring children from Child and Family Guidance Center, Girls Incorporated, Jeffries Street Learning Center and the YWCA. In 2007, the NCDA made monetary donations to these four agencies and also sponsored eight families through the USO Fort Hood. Last year, the NCDA purchased a variety of gift cards from local retail stores to distribute to USO Fort Hood families."

The NCDA Holiday Outreach program has been a tremendously rewarding experience for the NCDA. It's amazing how much this program has progressed over the years and how many lives it has touched. We hope to continue to work with all these worthwhile agencies in the years to come,” said Drew Campbell, president of the NCDA.
